Dental Fillings
Today's dentistry places a lot of emphasis on educating patients about the prevention of tooth decay.
However if tooth decay is detected, up-to-date technology allows us to use the best materials to provide a long lasting aesthetically pleasing result.
The cavity is firstly cleaned out then replaced with a white composite material that is strongly bonded to the remaining tooth structure.
Old amalgam fillings can also be successfully replaced with composite material.
Occasionally amalgam fillings may be recommended. We will only use amalgam if the patient is agreeable.
